Who am I?

The Designer

Micah graduated with an Art Studio degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham in the spring of 2018 while concurrently working as a junior graphic designer. Building upon 5 years of experience in the Graphic design field, Micah has moved upwards into a managerial role and heads a small team of junior graphic designers.

Throughout his years of being a graphic designer, Micah cut his teeth doing print layout work such as: Magazine Articles, Flyers, Posters and Direct Mail marketing solutions. Although the print medium has been his main focus Micah has also developed digital assets across social media platforms, graphics for internal websites as well as Sales and instructional presentations. 

This past year has found Micah collaborating with a colleague to create a Graphic Design workshop. This workshop is aimed at solidifying and refining the skillsets of junior graphic designers, with the goal of providing a larger avenue of upward mobility toward senior roles. 

The Person

Micah's resides in Birmingham, AL with his beautiful wife of seven years, a spunky fourteen month old son and two elderly cats. Micah grew up in the Birmingham area and enjoys being able to call the city home. One of Micah's personal goals is to assist in the personal and professional growth and development of the people around him. With this goal in mind he can see himself teaching and instructing in graphic design in the future.
